Powder Horn scope goes on hold

Man I wanted to try the new scope out on the Optima looks like it will be on the back burner for a few months
I went for the MRI on Friday last week and was told to day I need surgery on the right rotor cup .The Xray showed a 1" tare man that not good :Surgery is on this Tuesday:mad:
I here from people that had it the shoulder may take about 4 months to be good as new some say up to a year :Hope not
I can't tell you how it pissed me off I was cleaning up some yard rubbish and flip the bag into the trash can and felt the pull on the muscle@ tendons that attach it to the rotor cup

Ouch! but the sooner you get it done - the sooner you get back... Remember to do the Therapy after surgery - Therapy can get you back quicker.

Excellent advice!

yep get it fixed, heal up, and it will be a whole lot more enjoyable for you.

You can let me test the optima and scope out for you in the meantime.

Hope you heal fast and get back on the range. It's kind of hard for me to shoot right now. That blizzard that went through dumped 15 inches on us and drifted in the yard so l would need snow shoes to put a target out.

All the best with surgery and recovery. I've had my share of shoulder issues. Nothing that required surgery, but good physiotherapy.

Hope all goes well so you can be back shooting soon.

Good luck with the surgery lonewolf. At least the forum will keep you sane during the non-shooting period.

I know how that goes. I once screwed up my back big time simply stepping our of a Ford van.

I feel while pheasant hunting and tore my real good along with breaking 3 ribs.....follow the docs orders - do you therapy and keep at it.
it took dang near 4 yrs for mine to come back to what it is now. And its no where near 100% more like 80% - but it is better than what I had.

Good luck

JW
