We have also seen one big old boy drinking water in the back yard that has already lost his antlers.

Looks like a couple of nice young mule deer bucks.

I was wondering why these 2 guys still had their antlers??

The big burly old fella, we see once in awhile, has lost his antlers. Whereas these boys haven't. It isn't usual, nor is it unusual. We too, wonder why.
