Muley.. I spoke too soon. I had the rifle out and set to go.. went to the bullet cabinet and found three boxes of 270 grain Ball-ets. Then I remembered.. when the nephews were here last time, they wanted to shoot. Since I never used the 245 grain Ball-ets and they didn't care where they were hitting, I let them take a Knight LK out and shoot off the remaining box of the 245 grain Ball-ets I had. Sorry I could not do the test. I know the 270 grain is too large for a slow twist. But out of my 1-28 LK Knights.. they are deadly with 85 grains of powder.

It better not be .517. A PRB will fall through. That seems big Ron. What size it your barrel?

The standard size for the top ring on a 50 Cal REAL bullet is .517 My bore is .504 in my GM 50. Ron

I heard something like that as well but never really perked my interest. Last time i shot any buffalo bullets was a few months ago. The ballets did good but the 385gr buffalo bullet wouldnt shoot for nothing. Melted them the other day actually

Muley - I sent you a bunch of 245 gr Ball-ets to try. You should be getting them in a day or two.
