Top Shot

I just happened upon it browsing Netflix last week; I don't have cable or dish tv so it's new to me.
Some of you probably watch it?

Last night the episode was a flintlock match. I really enjoy all the slow-motion shots; those of the flintlock were quite impressive-literally belching fire & smoke!

Though some of the personalities are off, a few of those guys can really shoot. Inspires me to improve my skills.

I think the new season (season 3) starts in 2 weeks. I believe it comes on at 10 on Tuesdays on the History channel. I must have missed the flintlock episode. Do you have the link to that?

It's actually a pretty good show. My kids even like to watch it and see all the different firearms they use from modern to those of the past. Even throw in archery shooting and axe and knife throwing. Those guys and gals have to be pretty good at all aspects to do well in the show.

I have watched the show and there are some real good shots on there. Some of the handgun combat shooting they do is really impressive. Its a good show to watch. I missed the flintlock one, but they re show them over and over and over..

Although they are great shots, I cannot bring myself to watch the show more than the one time that I did.

These reality tv shows do not appeal to me. Sneaking and coniveing their way to the top are teaching our children the wrong road to success. I rank this show right in there with Survivor and the like.

Not for me thanks.

I like the shooting part, do not like the reality show part. I usually wait until the episodes come out on Hulu, then fast-forward past all the hyped up drama reality show crap and just watch the shooting competitions.

I must have missed the flintlock episode too- don't remember that one. But it is pretty cool to watch some of the competitions. The guy that won the show last season was an unbelievable shot with almost any weapon, and he had no formal training. Very interesting...

I'm just on season 1; the flintlock was episode 4, IIRC.
