It's nice here, in the 20's. The weatherman out of Duluth said the South Shore and Northern Wisconsin is in for snow with lake effect. But they are only talking four inches so that's nothing to get concerned with. It is lightly snowing now. Maybe we can get lucky and get some good snow next year. It would be great to snowshoe this winter.

Happy New Year Dave and everyone. May you have many more happy new years.

At about 11:30 i'll go to the workshop and fill a couple big heavy duty balloons with oxygen and acetylene. Will tape a pad of steel wool on each one and attach the wires of a 50 foot electrical cord to the pads. At the stroke of midnight i'll plug the cords in about ten seconds apart. This is serious concussion. It sometimes brings the cops: i just look old, concerned and innocent.

Falcon... That reminds me of the story my friends Dad told me. It seems my friend and his buddies were messing around at his house. His dad is a welder. And this young man is crazy. They had some black cat fire crackers. So he then went in the house and came out with some small kitchen garbage bags. He went in the garage and he added oxygen and acetylene to the bags, and then that firecracker and taped the end shut with duct tape.

Immediately he ran out side and was not all that far from the house. He pulled out a Bic lighter and lit that fuse and threw that bag in the air and ran like the devil was after him. The explosion shook the house and cracked a window according to the father. And when Dad came out to whoop that kid, he was laying on the ground curled in a ball. Being the concerned father, he ran to his son and rolled him over to find him laughing uncontrollably. He told him not to do it again, but didn't have the heart to whoop him. Actually some of the things this kid has pulled, I am surprised he has not killed himself.
