Black Diamond sight options?
 

I'm very pleased with my new Black Diamond XR purchase, but have an issue with the rear fiber optic sights. Red dot scopes and fiber optic sights play tricks with my eyes while standard non-fiber optic sights do not. The red front fiber optic at the muzzle appears crisp to me, but on the rear sight I see four dancing green dots. The Lyman style flip up sights on my Thunderhawk and Deerstalker do not play tricks with my vision. I am not allowed to black power hunt with a scope in my region, so I need to find a solution.

I see that Williams makes a specific Black Diamond rear peep sight, which I assume mounts into existing scope mount holes behind the percussion cap area. Has anyone mounted this product, or replaced the rear fiber sight with a non-fiber option?

There is one also that mounts where the rear sight ramp is. If I had to hunt in a non scoped area again, I can sure understand why fiber optic sights are not liked. For some reason they go blurred on me when I use them. In fact, when Wisconsin did not allow magnification in their scopes, I went to all 1x power scopes. I was amazed with the difference it made in my shooting. Peep sights are all fine and good, but in shadows and low light times of the day, they also gave me sighing problems. Probably my all time favorite primitive sight is the old Buckhorn sights found on Lyman rifles and PA Hunters. For some reason I can see them and focus through them.

will a new englander rear sight fit? and if it does will it work with the frount sight?some one might know here
