I say, absolutely!! they are pretty much the same concept of the encore and the encore stole its breachplug design from the triunph. I have shot my encore at least 60 times at one shooting and have never had blow back

I have owned one since December of 09 and have zero blow back issues.there a super clean muzzle loader and easy to clean.

I use Federal 209A and have never had a fail to fire. They are all I will use.

Great,
the inlaw is wanting to get one to shoot real black powder out of it and blow back was my concern so I guess there really is no concern since there isnt any blow back

Really???? I would send yours back to TC, must be something wrong with it.

I have never had any blow back with mine and have never heard anyone say otherwise. Including the other 3 posters, before you.
