Default What a bummer

I realized on my walk out of the woods tonight, that this is the first year since I started hunting with the ml'er, that I ate tag soup.

Tag soup used to upset me a lot. But now I look at it as not having to butcher, not having to make venison salami, and not having to can venison. All that not having to do makes the soup taste a little better.

At least some of the young hunters I know got some great bucks this year.

Having been there, I feel for you; just hope I'm not humming the same tune 1 week from now...

Tag soup is not bad with a piece of humble pie on the side. I have ate at least a tag a year for the last 3-4 years since we lost our honey hole. Thank god I bow hunt.

Use 2 fifty gr pellets of Pyro
250 gr Shockwave - yellow sabot
Win 209 primer.......

Only bullets I have tired and it did well at 50. Where I hunt I don't hav emuchmore than that.
But will play with others and go out to 100 or more.....
