CVA Firing Bushing/ O Ring
Ok for all you CVA experts. On my Optima pistol the firing pin bushing is farther back and not flush. Cause my W209 primers to move back and forth. I don't like this. I know that you guys have posted things on this issue and have corrected it with another o ring or something like that. Were do I find it and what size. I really don't want to switch primers. My TC Triumph likes them and I want to make them work with the Optima Pistol. Thanks again as always.

The o ring for the bushing may not work for every optima due to different head space but i believe the o ring i used was a #60.
Or just use a couple wraps of teflon tape around the bushing threads for a nice snug fit. |

Shim the amount needed til snug.

just the #60 if it will work. I say to adjust the headspace by backing it off until it lightly touches the primer and then measure the amount needed. I know with the #60 ring in my Optima i was able to adjust it perfectly out to .016 which gives a nice firm hold on the primer.
