Wow that is some nice shooting Chet. Would be interesting to see before you tighten the barrel up it the high shots were caused by a hot barrel or by the loose screw. You could take the wrench with you and fire again on a cool barrel, then tighten it up and see if the POI changes.

yeah but i was shooting open sights so thats a huuuge disadvantage plus im also shooting pyrodex. LOL wait till you see the target later, its a good thing i checked the target after each shot.

I used to shoot a 300 grain Dead Center Lightening it was called. A very accurate projectile. It was the cost of them that kind of made me back away from them. As there were far cheaper bullets on the market.

That 100 yard target would have got my blood going for sure.
