Removing TC Truimph Firing pin
Ok, after reading over the CVA manual it says that I can remove the firing pin/bushing and clean it. Which it seems easy enough. I have never done this to my TC Triumph. Is it the same way or is there a different trick to remove it or can it be done? Any help would be apperciated. Thanks

I have No Clue about the TC, but on some of the CVA's like My ACCURA all you do is unscrew it and pull out the Firing Pin. The Firing Pin will have a Small Spring around it, dont lose it and make sure you put it back in the right way. I like this as even though 209 Primers are Non Corrosive, BP is and depending what kind of BP you use and if there's even just a small amount of Blow Back it will get into the Firing Pin and eventually cause it to stick, and you dont want that.
Im sure a TC Shooter will chime in...... (BP) |
Cocking the hammer reveals the firing pin bushing with the screw driver slot. The firing pin is spring loaded. |
Ok ron. If I do that how many parts will come out? Will it be like the CVA and just the bushing, spring, and firing pin?

I think so.

Thanks Ron! Hey can you outfit a CVA plug to work with Blackhorn. I got my pistol and is has the reg. plug. I hate to just throw it out. CVA is shipping out a BH209 plug. Thanks
