Forgive me, for I am about to sin...

You won't regret a deer on the ground. I love my Browning BAR and if it gets to eat instead of my Knight Revolution, so be it.

No sin as far as i'm concerned. My roots are firmly planted in CF guns.
I've been screwed out of $1000 lately buying a ML. The guy is in jail, but my money is gone. It's soured me on muzzleloaders. I don't know. Maybe I was getting tired of them without knowing it.
I'll be hunting with a Remington 700 in .270 from now on. I really need a scope now, and I was rubbed the wrong way by using a scope in ML season. Now, everybody can use a scope in the rifle seasons i'll be hunting. The crossbow with scope was an even worse idea on my part. I have the licence now, but i'll never use it. I see no sense in using a ML in rifle season. They kick like mules and have no range.
So, probably not many posts from me on BP forums from now on. Here and there, but probably about hunting instead of guns.

As the time for me to leave to hunt closes in, I am beginning to sway back towards the ML. Since this is an afternoon/evening hunt, that scope really, really helps out if a buck shows close to last light. We'll see which one I grab once I'm suited up and the treestand is on my back, and the only thing left to do is grab the gun.

Please Muley. How can you give it up that easily. Once you fire a muzzle loader and breath in that smoke it gets into your blood and you can never get it out.
