Deep Curl 300g

Today, after testing the Accuracy of a couple of rifles, i walked up the hill behind the target. Managed to find 4 bullet. The 3 on the left i am thinking i shot last week when there was quite a lot of snow there, and the snow provided a cushion. The bullet on the right was definitely fired today into no snow, and it smucked into dirt and rocks before coming to a stop a way up the hill.

Speer DC 300g slug that my buddy's kid killed his buck with this week in Ohio.
Gun=CVA Electra
powder=135g T-7
sabot=CR

80 yard shot. bullet entered left front shoulder and stopped in ham on off side

:cool2: Man those things look pretty good! Do they make them in a smaller size than 300gr? I might have to try some in my mk.

Do you need to have a bigger charge to get that kind of results, or will they do good with 90 or 100gr pyrodex, or similar?

The .250 gr D/C is a great bullet also, especially from 0-100 yds average shots.

To put it simply, I love these bullets.

Try out the 250 grain Deep Curl. They do some serious damage as well, and they will expand good with moderate powder charges. My dad uses the 250 grainers with only 70 grains T7 with good results. The damage I've seen hasn't been as dramatic as the pic above, but it has been very good.
