They would never do that!!! What gets me is anyone that kills a world class deer is always a poacher and is always investigated. but, they never investigate a guy killing a 170" or smaller whitetail.

I am telling ya, I ever get lucky enough to kill a buck 190" or above, i am calling the game warden to come check my story, while everything is fresh. take the power away from the haters at the check station. They are always the ones that get the rumors going. Or thats how it works in my neck of the woods.

Went thru the ringer on this one. oh he scored over 300 non typical. never had it professionally scored, never cared much for that stuff.

Don't call a warden for me. Call a doctor, `cause I'd be in cardiac arrest.

I agree with Semisane.. If I shot one like you have on the wall they'd find me thawing out in the spring or as a fancy pile of wolf scat. I would die if I ever saw one like that come through the wood let alone get a shot at it.

Semisane.. don't you agree. If you saw a buck like that coming through the woods.. I'd close my eyes and start making noise to scare it off. Because I could never stand a face to face.

There used to be a notorious poacher around Snyder, OK. The guy poached a monster buck out of season and sent the head to the taxidermist. Problem was that the taxidermy had changed hands; a game warden now owned it. The wardens watched the guy until he spotlighted another big buck. The judge took the guys new Dodge diesel pickup and his gun, fined him $10,000 and banned him from hunting for life.

A 140" buck would put me into cardiac arrest! LOL

If I was so lucky to shoot something like that - the very next person I saw would be awarded all my gear, guns, etc and I would quit.....warden or not
