Triumph Question
I know the Triumph is a great gun, but someone told me that it is almost requires a scope, (something to do with the way the stock is designed) the reason I ask is that the state I hunt in does not allow the use of scopes. can anyone comment on this? Thanks Doc

you will have to shoulder it yourself, to answer that question. it purely is to the individual, people are shaped and shoulder their guns all different, to be a one size fits all. I don't have an issue with mine but, have had others complain but, i have seen that with alot of guns thru the years.

IMO the Triumph is OK with the supplied open sights. It becomes a problem when you try to shoot the gun with a peep site, since the rear peep is mounted much farther back near the breech. For me, the stock comb is way too high for me to get my head down enough to sight through the peep.

At first my Triumph worked OK for me when i used a scope, but not with iron sights. A while back it started slapping my face even when i sighted through a scope. Must be my face, and Triumph face don't mesh so very well. I don't shoot the Triumph any more.

The standard Triumph has a very high comb for some people I could not get down on iron sights on mine with out changing the comb. I have HEARD the bone collector has a lower comb also that the thumb hole is lower. A handy person could cut the wood stock to fit them selves.
