anyway i can shorten up a flint a bit?? i followed directions for finding the proper legnth sommwhere and somehow it came out wrong....it touches the frizzen at half cock...actually a hair more then touches it....can i use a file? or knap it like i would the sharp edge? or just get new ones or will they still work without a 1/16th inch gap? im new to flinting....got everything but powder..when i get time i am getting that and going to the range......i love it already....all the tools are so interesting and the gun too.....i cant wait to shoot it! anyone know what i can do with my flints? maybe a hack saw?..file? knapp them? what do you think?? its not much....not even 1/4 inch....thanx alot......
