Calling BH 209 a BP sub is stretching the original definition. No complaint from me though. If they want to make it legal. I'll use it.

My breech plug is not the QR type so I don't believe the new plug for BH209 will work in my Optima Pro.

You are correct, the new plug will not work in your rifle. It matters not. All you need do, to get 100% reliable ignition using BH in your rifle, is use a vent liner, and make your plug look like the plug in the photo.

non of my plugs look like that. Just need a nice tight fit on the primers to seal up the gasses and use a cci 209 mag primer and its good to go.

Hello!! Yer plugs look like the one on the right. BigRack23 look like the one on the left.

my Accura had the plug on the left as well. Worked great with tight head space adjustment.

winchester w209 needed it. CCI 209 Mags did not.

I have a impact and it shoots bh great haven't had a bullet not group well yet and I have shoot quite a few different ones , and Dave with a scope on the impact it's still very easy to open the break action even with gloves on

We have two Impact rifles in our group so far they shoot as well as the Triumph.
That is a good gun especially for the price.
