I picked up a pack of them the other day for the standard load of 80-100grn of powder. I normally shoot 100 T7 loose. Thought what the heck. Has anyone else gave them a try? I haven't had a chance to pop them yet.

I've shot some out of my Optima. Very accurate. Probably as accurate as the gun can get.
Mountain Devil killed a mule deer this year with a 250gr. I'm shooting the 300gr, and i'm very tempted to use it on elk next year. I use 100gr of BH 209. Accurate to 200yds.
My eyes are bloodshot from trying to find someone online who's used them on elk. Nothing so far. I'd hate to be the first one and have it fail. I'd have no problem on deer though.

I can say this about them with confidence, stay away from them! there are a lot better bullets out there and some are less expensive! i have seen the media tests on them and the results of a deer shot with them and it isn't good.

Do we need to bring up some old posts that you have been involved in, on what you used to consider good bullet performance lol..cuz i assure you the performance Jon got wasn't acceptable to you, just a short time ago!! bottom line the bullet exploded on a 80 yd shot..horrible bullet.. nuff said..

From all the posts I have read on PBs, they do kill deer. But I think the ratio of wounding vs dead is too high for me to risk using them. I used them one year, and not sure if I was lucky or not but I did harvest a big doe using the 245 gr HP .50 cal. And that's all I have to say about PBs.
