Traditions Vortek Ultra Light Photos
A few forum members were asking about the rifle so here is the run down. Have had this rifle for a little while now, did some horse trading with a friend of mine who has a FFL and the wholesaler he got it from was having a sale.Been playing with another rifle so in a few weeks a range report will come.

The screw you see is to take out the firing pin and retainer, making it so you dont have to send to Traditions for cleaning ![]() Last photo is of the trigger I asked a few people about it being plastic or polymer and One reminded me that the very Glock I own is made of it as well.Trigger is smooth no grit and right around 4lb's Range report will follow waiting on DNZ base to come in and a few other items..Fit and finish of the Rifle is great nice balance as well ![]() |
I like that. It will be very interesting to see how clean it shoots in the trigger area. Looks easy enough to get at for a good scrubber at the end of the year you know?

But you are right will shoot her and see how cleans she is after a 100 or so rounds.. |

I really got this rifle to use on some coyote stand this season. It is about a pound lighter than a few other rifles I have and it seems to swing faster and have a better balance.. |

What sabot and bullets were you using Muley ? |
I used Thors. No sabots in Colorado.
If sabots were legal here. I'd probably use the Barnes TMZ. I like all copper bullets. I used them a lot in CF guns, and they never let me down. |
