That's kind of funny. I was thinking of hunting down around Baraboo/Reedsburg opening weekend. I have some friends that want me to come down. And I normally hunt my place muzzleloaders season.

no snow either? Every darn year around this time you always have snow it seems LOL.

They said it might snow tonight only a couple inches. And snow tomorrow and a chance of snow on friday. So it will be the wet sloppy stuff. By the end of the month when muzzleloader season starts.. we will have snow big time.

Good shooting Dave. How on earth do you decide which gun you are gonna hunt with since you have so many?

Ok call me dumb, but what is QLA?

cayugad 11-09-2011 05:26 AM

The QLA is the quick loading accessory which is built into the end of the muzzle. So the sabot for instance sits under the edge of the muzzle and you can shove it down the barrel without the short starter in some cases. A lot of people cut them off because they claim they effect accuracy.

Like I said, the conical bullets grouped OK but I could not believe where they hit on paper compared to the sabots. I figured... ok a little lower but not what they did.
