Mapped out my shooting range area
 

Alright so i finally had some time to go and mess around. I took my dog for his walk and decided to bring along a note book, pen, and my GPS.

I wrote down the degrees at my shooting range and then walked down to the bottom of it and marked that down.

Checked out some areas on the GPS where my Food plot will be, my water station as well as my tree ladder stand. Its pretty awesome to see this stuff on the GPS map as well as google earth.

Red = Ladder Stand
Yellow line = food plot area
Small light blue spot = Water tank
Larger blue spot by the water tank is my pond


Big clearing is my shooting range which will also be a food plot with Crimson Clover.
Now pictured most, the area thats really thinned out a great deal, this is my main food plot which will grow Deer Greens once i get enough Fertilizer in the ground next spring.


I just thought it was really cool to finally be able to see where my areas were and mark them and see how i could use that to my advantage with food plots and later tree cutting.

A muzzleloader muley hunt may be in the near future if the plots start bringing animals in and holding them.
