Deer Down
 

Well we got my little buddy on a deer this evening. It wasn't easy. But we got 'er done.

He made a great front shoulder shot at about 40 yards. I taught him to say SQQUUUEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEEEEE as he pulls the trigger. This has stopped him from yanking the trigger, and lifting his head off the stock. It really has worked out pretty good.

As large as a deer is it is still difficult to get a youngin on a deer. But it was worth it. Wouldn't trade it. Tom.

The two are not my children. They are my best friend's kids. I just like to take them out hunting and spending time with them. It is as much fun for me as it is for them.

This is not the boy's first deer. Just his first one this year. He has shot a few. This is his third year for taking deer. He is a real hunter. And he is not afraid to get in there. Tom.
