I tried the FPB in all my CVA's, and couldn't get them started. So, i'm assuming all the Bergara CVA's have a .500 bore. I asked Hornady what the diameter of the FPB is, and they told me .503. Western Powder found out the same thing. See link below. I'm finding it hard to believe that a .503 bullet can get down a tight bore. Does your gun have a Bergara barrel. Math are reading is hard I guess for some... :bash: |
.500 is a tight bore. I made no mention of your gun. I said TIGHT BORES!
My Wolf was .500. All CVA's seem to want the .500 Thor. Whatever anyway. Everybody wants to argue. Pick away at the smallest details. This forum is getting as bad as Claudes. |
Bergara Barrels " on all CVA guns just to clear this up LOL" run bores of .500 to .501
The FPB is extremely tight in the .500" CVA Bore. It takes a good 4 or 5 wacks on the bullet starter to get the bullet down. I dont like that during hunting. Thor or Powerbelt for me as well. |
