I just read some info. on the White muzzleloaders and while I'm sure a load can be tailored to a 1/20 barrel, I still say that if you have to shoot a bullet weight of around 500gr. for a .45 cal. or drop your powder charge to decrease your velocity in order to get consistent groups at MOA then I don't see that setup as being very desirable to the masses. I would think that most who bought a Knight super disc. in a .45 with a 1/20 twist rate had the idea of shooting a sabot round with a bullet weight of somewhere in the realm of 200gr. and 100-150 grms. of powder. Just looking at things from a hunters perspective.

What do you need to know??? I bought mine new in '98 I believe, have several loads that work with her...My current load is 80grs FFF Goex and a .430 caliber 300gr Hornady XTP...
btw...You can get by without a C-tool, just use a 1/2 or 7/16 open wrench (can't remember which fits)...I also use a 6 point 1/4 drive 7/16 socket to remove the breech plug...

most likely be shooting home cast 451 or ..2. about the same amount of grains.

I think what i see in these pictures of your breech plug is the primer sitting right on the flash hole. What i mean is there doesn't seem to be much of a flame channel at all. Other than one i made once, i have never seen such a style. I am correct, there is no flame channel, just a flash hole between primer and powder?

Corey...Sorry, they are the Harvester plain green sabots...
My other loads are 100grs of Goex or Pyrodex R-S and the 300gr Barnes
MZ with their supplied sabots...For some reason my Knight doesn't like
the 250s...
Another is the 250gr SST/Shockwaves with MMP-224s and 80grs FFF Goex...
My Disc seems to prefer lower charges and longer bullets as if never did like
295 PowerBelts or the .451 Hornady 300s either...

This style was supposed to ignite pellets better.
Coreys BP appears to be even earlier than mine. Ive never seen one like that. IIRC they did offer a #11 adapter that somehow fit in the Orange DISCs. Its mentioned in my manual.
