Lk-93

A quick question. Didn't Knight make an LK-92?? My friend brought over an LK-93 to my house last night that his brother did not clean from last year. And we did alot of work on the rifle. But Ben said his rifle was an LK-93. I told him I thought it was an LK-92, but he said it was an LK-93. So I checked his barrel, and sure enough it was marked LK-93.

Is there a difference between an LK-93 and an LK-92?? Or is there an LK-92?? Maybe I just made a mistake?? Tom.

I know there was BK92 not sure about an LK other than the 93 and the Lk11.

There was a BK 92. In the LK series there was the LK-II and the LK-93 both of which I own.

There was an lk-92 mentioned in one of my older manuals. I don't think it was quite the same as the lk-93 but I can't remember nomore.

It could easily be my old timer's kicking in here. And as Cayugad said it could have been a BK-92 instead on LK-92??

Cayugad what is the difference between your BK and your LK?? Tom.

I do not own a BK. I have a LK-II and a LK-93. I was under the impression that the BK 92 was basically an open breech plunger gun. There was also a shotgun back there I owned one for a week and then traded it off. And it had some crazy letter and number to it, but I forget.

I have a BK-92. It has a 24" blued barrel, black synthetic stock, solid (and very hard) recoil pad, plastic Williams front and rear sight, plastic thimble and it is a plunger gun.

My mistake.

I do know my friends LK-93 that we worked on last night was very light. It even felt a tad bit lighter than my MK-85. And the trigger also seemed to be very good. We did take the old sights off the rifle and I had a set of sights in the box I put on the rifle that he liked better.

Overall it was a very nice light hunting rifle. Even after his brother made a real mess of the rifle. Tom.

Now that you mention it I think there was a lk92 that used musket caps and the lk93 was number 11 caps. I will check my old manual when I get home later tonight

Chet, maybe it was in the manual that I sent you. I just looked through the ones I have and couldn't find it. I know I saw it somewhere. Let me know if you find it in there, I want to make sure I aint losing it.
