CVA Optima...
A friend bought a CVA Optima a few weeks ago along with a Nikon ProStaff scope...He brought it to me to sight in for him...After getting her fairly close at 100 yards I shot a 5 shot group...Here are the results...To keep you guys happy, I threw one out of the group, keeping the 5 shot rule in place...The load was 85grs Goex FFF with a 300gr Hornady .430 XTP and plain Harvester green sabot...
I gave the scope eight more clicks of elevation and put her up for the day...

Obviously you guys didn't know that CVA's can't shoot nchawkeye.
That load ought to do the job on just about anything you want to hunt. Good shooting. Was your buddy impressed?
By the way, we really appreciate your adherence to the five-shot rule.

Nice shooting indeed. Semi, you stirring the pot again!? (You know those groups would be a lot tighter and no flyers iffin you shot some PRBs out of your Knight Mountaineer.)
Sorry Grouse and Muley - I just couldn't resist. The temptation was just too great for a bit of teasing.
