Yeah I know wrong section. But living in residential area all I can shoot is my bow. VA season starts first weekend of October and I'm ready. It must be nice to shoot rifles out your back door. BTW that's my duck hunting buddy TUCO(2yo lab). Bonus points to anyone who knows where his name came from.

nice shooting there... that should get it done.

As for TUCO.. wasn't he the bad guy in the Good the Bad and the Ugly?

Grouse45 09-18-2011 08:36 AM

Very nice

Shoot'in is Shoot'in. That's more like a 20 yard group for me.

Wheres the bow pic, the name brand vertical or crossbow... come on man more info.... thats a very nice group especially if from a vertical....

Heres my hunting buddy, Bailey....he is training to be a shed dog.... It should be easy, it is his favorite chew toy.... he's actually my wifes dog (hence the name) but i am his human!!!

Sorry......It's a Ross. They were bought out by BOWTECH. GoldTip arrows shooting 307fps. With that speed first pin is good to 32yds. I always shoot 40 or longer that makes anything closer a chip shot. Thats my son JASON giving Dad a thumbs up for the group.

I've always liked the Ross brand and at one time owned a cardiac and then I went to bowtech.... After some neck and other issues last year, I am a Tenpoint shooter, now... Gotta say the Tenpoint is much easier and i can hold tight groups to 60yards... but i miss being able to use a vertical and having a few more challenges, to the hunt....

Nice shooting. Seeing your dog in the background of the first pic reminded me of a cat we once had. It was an outdoor cat that when it saw me practicing, I had to end my shooting session. It would try to catch the arrow. It died from natural causes and no, not from an arrow.
