I don't think that my intellect is better than anyone else it is just that I did the hard work to get the education I needed to practice in the field of my choice.

You have to be kidding me!!!!

You might want to change that to bi-weekly::rolleye0011:

Experience has taught me that one of the quickest and easiest ways to get a person to re-access their conduct is to publicly expose them to the scrutiny of their peers. Alas in Grouse's case this tactic failed miserably. At this time I am at a total loss as to what other steps I could take in abstentia other than to totally ignore him in the hope he will ride his ego off into the sunset and be heard no more. .

To answer another poster's question I publicly stated that I had sent Grouse a private message in a futile attempt to embarrass him to the point that he would respond in the same manner. Yes I do attempt to analyze posts especially those made by individuals who create public profiles that are nothing more than self edification.

Let me know where you are located. I am sure that I can find one of my colleges who would see you daily pro bono. “A professional consultant and expert marksman. I'm the one they call to teach the best of the best”. What a crock.

I pulled the flange of a musket cap out of my cheek the rest of the cap was still attached that's what I got a hold of to pull it out. I have had pieces of #11 bounce off but never have one stick in. I always are safety glasses and have had stuff bounce off them. I shoot way more than most people so I suppose these things are more likely to happened to me. I still use my Hawken and Renegade and underhammer rifles but always with safety glasses I have disposed of the obsolete guns I have had I really like and am quite comfortable with the new closed breach Muzzle loaders.
For the most part I would say that as long as you ware safety glasses and won't get excited over a small bump or cut you can shoot what you like. I would consider it dangerous to shoot 209 in an open breach gun with out safety glasses in fact I ware safety glasses when ever I shoot.

WCW, you might consider printing out this entire thread and giving it to you psychologists for assessment.

Thanks for your honesty.

Lee. safety glasses while shooting any type weapon should always be worn.the only time i have ever been hit with anything was shooting my renegade and it in fact was a piece of cap. my brother in law who i shot with quite a bit was also hit with a piece of cap while shooting his hawkins.i will say i have never been hit with anything while shooting a plunger style rifle.IMHO more people are hit with flying objects by side locks than plunger guns. so does this mean the poster is going to test side locks also? or that they should be re designed? your point is well taken and i hope mine is as well.the problem here is not flying objects, but the poster constantly bringing up topics to intentionally inflame people.also the word flash mob has been used in this thread and doesn't apply in any way to this thread, since people are not being brought over here from other forums.in fact there are a large number(not just a few) of members here who choose not to openly confront anyone let alone the poster, yet find him offensive none the less.the fact he has lost the ability to post on another forum (i am sure there are more) is a good indication that WCW hit the nail on the head..like it or not!! Nuff said

Great idea. Better yet I might circulate it among a a number of practitioners to get their opinions on its content. I know several who can spot an inconsistency in written statements in a heartbeat. I wish I had that talent.

You know WCW - I really feel somewhat bad for you that you let a few very biased posters provide you information in PM's that reflected their personal feelings. The part that is really bad - is that you as a profession could not see through these personality conflicts and took their information as fact.

Ray set you up - offered you a carrot and you bought it without confirming the information with people that have the facts.

I believe they had a discussion the other day on 'flash mob' actions gone bad - you really might have benefited from that professional discussion. In my opinion you are dealing with a 'flash mob' that started many months ago with a former moderator on this forum passing personal biases and false information that a few now have grabbed and enlisted themselves as the banner carriers.

Just for you and Ray I believe I can clear up some of it at a later date. A brand new 2011 Knight manual is in the mail system someplace with the current Knight load recommendations.

If you are unable to wait you personally should call Don @ Western Powders and discuss the information you already have. He is far ahead of the 'flash mob' with vital information about his powder in various muzzleloaders that are on the open market.
