Omega got new glasses
I bought a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 Ballistic Plex for another gun but decided the Omega .45 needed an upgrade. Targets were shot at 50yds getting the scope where I want it for 100yd shooting. Load was 105gr BH209, 200gr Midway SST Blem in a Harvester light blue sabot.
![]() 3 shots one after another. No cool down. Win209 primers ![]() Scope adjustment and 5 shots one after another. No cool down. 4shots with Fed209A's and 1 with a Win209. ![]() I might not even shoot it at 100yds. :D 5 shot group for Semi and the barrel was smokin!! |
And a damn fine five shot group it is too. :hail:

I agree with In record book, please let me take that junker off your hands so you can buy a real rifle :)

Very nice scope. It sure makes the outfit look sharp. I never used a Burris scope, but from all I have read, they are top quality. In fact one of the stores that send me a magazine has a Burris 2-7x32mm I believe it is on sale. I have thought of getting it just to put on a nice rifle to play with. And that is some great shooting. You have a real winner there.
