new to the forum, hope someone has an answer for me. just bought a wolf .50 cal and seems that when empty if i pull the trigger the hammer dosn't hit the pin. has anyone had this happen to them? this is my first ml and untill i shoot it live this issue is driving me crazy.thanks for any help.

Easiest way to test to see if its working correctly is to make sure the rifle is unloaded, put in a primer and fire it off.

Is the hammer end of the pin even visable without a primer in place?

It might be that it hits it so fast and then springs back that you can't see it. Ride is forward slowly with your finger and see if it hits it. A Genesis I used to have was like this. It hit it so far and sprung back you couldn't see it, but it was hitting it.

It just looks that way. It will fire fine.
