Stainless Steel Lube
 

I ordered this a couple weeks ago as it was cheap and so i did a test barrel and set it outside and will leave it for a few weeks.

i went a de-greased the barrel and then used a cotton ball to apply the protectant to the SS.


It has a smell like liquid Alox but not nearly as strong. The texture is also like alox but much more runnier and spreads easy onto the surface.


I did my Optima too so we'll see how it holds up, especially the outside test on the test barrel. But i like it, just give it time to set up over night and it will dry to a film.
