And even good for dem old bar!
Bronko, are you talking about that old bar West of town on Hwy 61? I don't think they allow guns inside.

They allow em inside, ya just got to turn them in before you go drinkin that firewater. But I was referrin to those big ol nasty critters with fangs and claws that get a might peeved when you poke em with a big ol PRB.

A stainless Ruger black powder does quite well for me.

Here's a discontinued but brand new TC Scout .50 inline pistol with a 12 inch barrel that uses an #11 cap. Because it's rare to find one brand new this one has a relatively high price tag.
But just like a Whopper it takes two hands to handle it!

The old fashioned side lock pistol is a blast to shoot. And they are very easy to clean. I highly recommend them. I would go with all the fire power there is to offer. Such as the .54 caliber or a minimum of a
.50 cal. I don't think at the range you'll be getting with a pistol there is any need to have a scope on it.

I have a 17 inch Encore 209x50 that I have on my pistol frame and let me tell you , it shoots good.
That being said, I am going to get a .54 cal Side lock pistol to match up with my "Renny Gals". 2 .54 flintlocks, 1 .54 caplock, and 1 .50 30 inch round ball barrel Renegades.

That T/C Scout is a puppy. This is my favorite hunting handgun. Al be it not black powder.

My Magnum research BFR in .45-70. She reaches out and touches things very well. Normally exploding them into little pieces.
I do want to get a .54 sidelock pistol though.
