Congrats on the new gun.

However.............Since when do we know what load will work in a ML without even shooting it?

Congratulations! You've been waiting "patiently" for that rifle for some time now. I want to get one but I DON'T NEED ANOTHER MUZZLE LOADER!

No one needs one:s4:
Here's a couple of three pictures. not the greatest but it will have to do til most of the canning season is over. Hopefully I can get it out and shoot in spite of the garden season.I only have the remainder of the month for my elk cow tag. It would be nice to use it for that. If I can get it sighted in and ready in one day then its a possibility. If not , deer season is fast approaching.
Only 6 weeks til the kids tags for deer and only 7 weeks til bow season. 2 months til antelope,. man I am getting excited just thinking about it.

I don't know what load will work but I'm willing to start with some suggestions from someone who has worked up a load on the same model , even though it may not like the same load. There's always a chance it will save some experimenting time. Gotta start somewhere.:s4:

Dang it Chet!!! :bash: I take it all back I did not want to see any pictures and worst part - my favorite TH stock DANG!

I am going to shoot 120 grains of T7-2f, a MMP HPH Orange .457/.458 sabot and a Lehigh/Bloodline .458-275. And mr Buck better start shivering now! Or I might feel a bit sorry for him and use the same load and a HPH-24 with the Lehigh/Bloodline .452-250 grain.

It looks great!! I cannot wait until mine shows up!! I think Grouse had a load worked up that seemed like it did pretty well. Congrats on a beautiful gun!!

I might just have to get one of those stocks for my LRH build. I love that color laminate and the bolt looks awesome.
