remember how i was talking about hunting new mexico this year and how we got screwed out of state land by a property owner who leases state land boarder all access points? New Mexico overturned it and we now have access again! There was a full page article about it in the paper and how the land owner tried leasing it for business purposes but after looking into, they basically felt it was a stab in the back to lock hunters off the land.

Ordered a CVA Scout .243 combo for my nephew today as well. They are doing away with the bigger calibers on the Scout as the 243, 7mm08, 35 whelen & 4570 are their best sellers. I really wanted to get him a 270 but the 243 will do on deer just the same.

What a relief though to know we have our old spot back and are able to hunt it! September 24th muzzle loader season can not get here soon enough!

Congrats MD. Hope to see some pictures after your hunt(s). I'm itching for a ML hunt somewhere. I have the $ saved up, just trying to find a good place to go. I'm heading to TX this Oct but that is archery only.

Its nice when things work out like that. Makes the rest of us have hope.
