HOT.....but had to shoot

My plan today was to rezero my scope at 100yds after an adjustment then shoot 200yds. Tempature was 92degrees. My plan came to an end when I pulled into my club at 1830hrs and realized there was a meeting at 1900hrs. I hurried up and placed targets on the 100yd range and fired 2 shots (1835hrs) then adjusted my scope a few clicks left. I then shot the 3 shot group below. 1st shot low then 2 and 3 beside each other. I only let the barrel cool approximately 2 minutes between shots. CCI209M's used for ignition. ZERO blowback.

Sabotloader's modified V1 plug w/ PR Bullet vent liner, metric o-ring in primer pocket

And what has become my favorite smoker.........TC Pro Hunter w/ .45 Encore Bergara barrel

I was trying to get you a 200yd group trigger45, just not enough time.

If that 1" 100 yard group holds together to give you 2" at 200 you'll be in high cotton Omega.

beautiful rifle.. Love that pond to! Any coy or other kind of fish in there?

Omega45 07-19-2011 08:21 PM

MD,
Look closely in the water behind the focus on the scope.

There is goldfish and shubunkin swimming in there. I believe 14 fish total and one frog. My catfish died over the winter and I did not replace them.

I have a little Koy pond about the same size but the coons get them too often. The sucker ate my 2 favorite white Koy and an expensive fancy one i got as a gift. :(

Great shooting and in this heat....AWESOME SHOOTING!!!

Yep, they got in mine last year and tore my lillies all up but did not get any snacks!

I have a small pond in the back corner of my yard, eighteen inches deep and about four feet across. Had it full of goldfish - probably 35 or 40 three inch long fish that my granddaughters liked to feed when they come over. When they started disappearing I suspected coons. Then one morning I saw the culprit eating breakfast. It was an Egret. By the end of the week there were three Egrets out there, but no fish left for them.
