How did the new plug work out with Blackhorn209?

I saw the prototype plug. At the show it still was not right. There is more to the plug then just a 5/32 flame channel to consider.

You can tell that it is not right and won't fire the powder by looking at it? that is a pretty bold statement.

No other company charges for a part to fix a problem.

Oh, yeah!!!

Remember the Encores with muzzleloader barrels a few years ago. What a hassle to get the breechplug out: The barrel was removed from the frame and then the extractor was removed in order to remove the breechplug. TC had a fix for that one: It cost an extra $19.00 for that spiffy hinged extractor.

The plug i saw at the show would of fired BH209 no problem. The question was for how long.

I sat right with Western Powders at the show and talked about the plug. They were supposed to change the plug at the show but i dont know if they did or didnt. They had solutions but i have no idea what they have done.

That part was well worth $20.00 bucks to me.

I tried the new plug with T7.... it sucked so I went back to the standard plug which works great....if anyone is interested I'll ship my Apex Blackhorn plug I got to you for $10.
