FPE chart for BH209
1 Attachment(s)
Hey all - I was bored and thinking about what bullets to buy based off of some suggestions in another thread.... so I was comparing FPE from the T/C manual using pyrodex powder vs. pellets and was suprised at the lower performance of 100gr powder vs. 2 pellets since I thought that 1 pellet was supposed to = 50 gr.
Anyways - I looked up the data for blackhorn and it's a prettier picture. Their online data was missing FPE, for whatever that is worth (I like the geekiness factor), so I added it and sorted the list on high to low FPE (based on 120gr, but should hold true throughout). This is just FPE and not terminal performance... but fun anyways. |
I don't have the software to see your link.

Thanks Ron.
My computer is a gaming computer, and has the bare minimum of software. Would like to see the 250gr Thor? |
Wow! Anybody trying to decide between a Powerbelt 295gr and the 300gr Thor.
Look at the difference!! I'm guessing down range would be even more dramatic. |
Those nosler partitions are looking good. I might have to give them a try. 120 out my gun would be smoking...lol

Hey Muley - you can download some office software for free - openoffice.org It has a spreadsheet program that can open this excel file... did I mention it's free??
