oh great now eagles have turned terrorists and will be bombing us with fawns LOL

we have deer flies around here, but nothing that big thank goodness.

I just figured the eagle was wanting fried deer!! Don't blame em it is my favorite too.

Maybe one of those giant birds they talk about on the monster program on Discovery channel.

That is probably a fawn and depending on how young it is... they weigh about five to ten pounds shortly after birth. That would be a lot of weight for an eagle to pick up, but I would guess a mature adult eagle could lift that. Maybe the meal got too heavy and they dropped it.

Did you ever see that post a while back, where they had a moose hanging in a high line wire? That was pretty cool.
