Holster that puppy.

I just thought I would show off my new holster.

Looks to be easy to find. Make it yourself?

No, I ordered it online.

that is a real nice holster. I made a similar one that I use to carry a tomahawk in. It works real well and was easy to make.

I think it needs a strap with a snap on it for safety.

When I made the one for my tomahawk, I put a leather lanyard on/through the top of the holder. This allowed me to go over the head of the hawk and tie it down to the holster. I've gone through some pretty tough brush and never lost a hawk yet.

Nice. I think I may need to get me a .50 cal percussion pistol to carry along on my ML hunts. Something that would be a companion carry to my sidelock. I'm in no hurry and they show up from time to time for sale at decent prices.

Cool looking holster but I would need some kind of insurance strap as well

I would not want to be disarmed by an angry mob of whitetail deer either. :D

I agree it should definitely have some type of retention, would hate to snag it on some brush and realize its missing an hour later.

A good looking holster. BTW have you considered some sort of retention? :)
