STICKY Thread???

I see that we have gotten rid of the sticky thread. What happened to the one that cayugad made about what you need for muzzleloading? That would be a really good one so any newbies could see. What do we have to do to make it happen???

cayugad 04-26-2011 05:56 PM

I don't think that was a sticky. I think the sticky was about breech plugs and what makes one better then the other.

I believe that is what you were referring to.

No. No. No.

No stickies please. I hate those things. They just clutter up a forum.

There are enough of us here to provide links to any old thread someone needs.

I took the sticky down as the thread has run its course. If you find others that might be stuck let me know but I agree with others as too many stickys is a pain.

I am here to help and learn as I go from all of you.

Items you need: Post should be a sticky, It saves a lot of time having to re-type everything for new guys that come along. I remember one time we had either 5 or 6 people in the SAME day asking the same question.

I can ask for a sub forum for answers to the same type questions. We did a simialr thing in the turkey forum if you feel it is warranted.

That breech plug post could be put in there as with several others.

let me know

That would work. I just know that there is probably alot of people that look at this forum, but don't join. Atleast with the newbie list we would help them and other threads that have valuable info that is buried.

Maybe just one sticky with all the basics for a noob.

We can point a noob to it, and then if they have more questions we can answer them.
