Help Me Choose A Scope

I just got my new tc prohunter endeavor yesterday in stainless, and want some suggestions for a scope. I want a variable scope in matching stainless and stainless rings as well. Also the matching stainless scope base mount. If anyone can give me some suggestions I would really appreciate it? I am leaning in the direction of leupolds or nikons. Thanks.

I would put the Nikon Omega on it. The little extra eye relief on that gun is nice. Warne bases and rings are the best. The Talley one piece base and rings is nice also.

I like Leupolds, a VX-II 3x9x40 will do all that needs to be done...

I like the DNZ EER base and ring combo. I use DNZ's on all my TC guns. This base will work great with the Nikon BDC. I would stick to the matte black though as the silver does not match. Natchez had the silver Nikon Omega BDC marked down and IMO it would look good with a black matte mount. I prefer the Bushnell DOA lines over the Nikon BDC circles though. Go to Bass Pro, Cabelas or Gander Mtn and look through a few and see what you like. Best deals are ordering online though.

My personal choice would be a Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9x40 DOA...

The Rain Guard lens are great in crappy weather.

My other choice would be the Leupold Ultimate Slam 3x9x40 SA. B.R. Reticule

Nikon Omega would be my choice if you want a muzzle loader style scope. If not, the new Burris E1 would get a serious look from me, or one of the Bushnell Elite 4200's on clearance.

Considering where you live, i would imagine your shots will be reasonably short (100 yds or less) a BDC scope really isn't needed.any quality non BDC scope in 2-7 or 3-9 should with a decent eye relief, should work well for you. Ray

+1 on the VX-II 3x9x40. Have one on my Omega.

I thought, but do not know for sure, Indiana was fairly flat with large cultivated fields. When you are hunting around those fields you can get some quite lengthy shots...
