Fit of Gun

have any of you had this trouble after putting a scope on your mz the comb the distance between the stock our your cheek and your eye to the scope and what did you do to help rise this

I got 1 with an adjustable comb but it makes the felt recoil more apparent.

I also have a Knight rubber sleeve that helps if you need a higher comb.

There several companies making comb lift kits that would probably solve your problem...

Or you could do as I do. Eat a lot, gain weight, and develop fat cheeks. :D

I usually try to make a low mount fit. Thats what I did with my Renegade. It worked out really good. However I had to get a 32mm obj to make it work.

Me too! The smaller objectives work just fine for dawn and dusk shooting when the scope is set at 6 1/2 power or less.

I just read a ton of reviews on the Beartooth. It seems the major problem is the foam pieces moving under the sleeve. Once you got the height where you want it. I'd tape the pieces to the stock, and then slip on the sleeve.

I might buy one too.

got my beartooth comb kit this week put it on and used the 1/4 pad on it and works good and fills good to the face have to shoot it know will this change my sights

cayugad 05-06-2011 08:04 PM

yes I know exactly what your talking about. And on some of the rifles, it is a real bother. Also I think accuracy suffers because of it.

a1smokepole 05-06-2011 08:11 PM

will I whated my gun to fit me better and with a scope 2.5-10+42 and high rings I had to hold my head up of the stock a little but this comb kit worked out good but time for the range now and this is on a knight LRH 50 cal

Leather Cheek Pads

There's also the type that strap on, but I would probably choose to buy the leather ones that lace up like Cabela's sells. They come in 3 different heights.
