2 day camping trip
 

Took my nephews for a couple days into the hunting area. Had a real fun time, fishing sucked as it was windy and fish were not biting at all.

The mule that gets us around the mountain roads.


The extra weight we put in back for added traction.


Night one,My nephew chopping wood for the night while my dog relaxes from a hard day swimming in the lake.


Me cooking dinner, Notice the pretty curly maple stripes on the hot dogs? LOL.


On day 2, we decided to head up the mountain to an area we never been before. It was pretty darn steep, almost had to use your hands to pull you up in most area's.

Getting to where we needed. Southern Colorado's beautiful forests that make hiking and hunting a simple walk through the woods :poke:

Doesnt look steep, but that rock wall is a good 20+ feet drop.

Heck of a good time but one thing i did learn from this trip. I aint hunting this area no more! Forest is just to dang of a mess and the terrain plain ol sucks!

The pictures made me feel like i was there.

You camped and fished in a beautiful place. i've fished some of the the streams in southern CO and they are great.
