Default Shot some milk jugs today

Ok, forgive me but i don't have the video up yet, still have to edit it.

But anyways, someone on my forum wanted me to shoot the 260gr PT Gold into some 1 gallon milk jugs and so this morning i filled up 2 milk jugs, one windshield washer fluid bottle ' one gallon' and a one gallon orange juice bottle. 4 gallons total.

Loaded up my Nephews CVA wolf with 110 grains blackhorn209 and squeezed off the shot. I most likely hit center but when i went to take a look, jugs 1 and 2 were exploded, jugs 3 and 4 had a single bullet hole entry/exit along with 2 small fragment holes. Jug #4 i recovered 2 small fragment pieces which IMO will be normal to recover with a hollow point bullet.

But after doing the tests, this bullet looks to perform excellent with very little weight loss.

I only have one bullet left so i am saving that for the wet news paper test once i get some paper saved up.

Will work on the video tonight and hopefully upload it tomorrow.

I usually backup the jugs with totally soaked phone books to get the best looking mushroom if they pass through the jugs. Very few conventional hunting bullets will ever make it through 4 jugs and 2 thick wet books.

They photograph better too.

those are the same bullets I was shooting the other day. They look like a good bullet. I don't know why, but I love to watch a video of things blowing up. That really knocked the jugs for a loop.

Thanks MD,

It was my request and I appreciate the efforts.

Was that picture at the end of the video the remains of the bullet?

Looks like it held together quite well.
