Hello mutzinbauch,

I purchase one of these last fall from a guy who bought it an never shot it. I havent shot it yet myself, and am thinking about the Turkey hunting thing. from the information I have read on the web, they are a blast to hunt with. If your looking for a 12 gauge New Englander, they first made them in just cylinder bore, and I believe the latter ones had the interchangable chokes. (Mine is the cylinder choke model) from what I have read about these are you have to play alittle with the powder loads and the shot amounts to get a decent shot pattern. but if after you get one, and you come back to this forum you will get all the information about that kind of stuff from the great guys here. thats how I kinda learned myself. and if you are looking now to buy, you might be able to find a barrel and a stock sold seperatly on ebay, seems thats one of the ways to get one.

I paid $200 each for both the New England and the big Boar. I guess I got a great deal!!!
