460's but not Harry's
 

Doc sent some White Super slugs .451 cal 460 gr which Ireceived today. I have some No-Excuse 460's. They look very similar. The Superslugs are just a hair taller . They have more but narrower engraving bands.

That will be exciting to try them in that rifle. I can't wait for the range report.

I can hardly wait myself. I wanted to immediately go out and try some of them but another cold front moved in and I was frozen just trying to get some livestock squared away and didn't feel like doing anything except warming up. But as soon as I can I will post a report,

Ever tried any paper patched bullets for a .45?

Idahoron once sent me some paper patched 385gr great plains? bullets for my .45 Winchester Apex i had and with 70gr Pyrodex P, that sucker was awesome.

I have paper patched 538 gr 451's but haven't shot them. When you make it up here we will have to try them out:D
