While reading this thread, i realized i had in my pocket, items that i carry whilst hunting. This cracked me up, because muzzle loader season has been over for a month now. Thinking about it, it dawned on me, i have been packing these things around in my jeans since antelope season opened in early October. Evidently, carrying these things around, all day, every day, wasn't much of a bother. This morning i just lightened my load a bit.

I like the T-handle TC sells. It's not fast to use, but if I get stuck in a crud ring I can pull on it.

Now that i'm switching to BH 209. I may not need it anymore.

I couldn't do it. I was leaving the house, headed out to punch paper, and saw them things on the desk. I couldn't leave home without them; back into my jeans they went.

Excellent tool. I bring it in the field since I have a fanny pack or backpack anyway. No reason to load the next one any differently than the first one is...why risk a POI shift?

Man, I am the exact opposite. I despise having things in my pockets...drives me nuts. Keys go on a carabiner on my belt loop and gun goes on my hip...no "pocket pistol" for me. I can barely stand having a pocket knife, but the pocket clip makes it bearable. If the wife is with me, I hand the keys off to her when we park. Less is more...comfortable.

Haha, is that a bunch of junk in your pocket or you just happy to see me?
