A Handy Carpet Square

Just thought I'd mention this.

I've found that a small piece of carpet is real nice on a shooting bench. It keeps your balls from rolling around  and makes picking up individual percussion caps real easy.

It looks like it would keep your rod in place too...:barmy:

A little bit larger piece also works great for raising the height of your shooting bags... preferably shag :eek2: Ray

You're right about that Builder. We have about a dozen eight and ten in squares in a box next to the shooting benches for just that purpose.

To quote Corey "thanks for the tip semi. hate it when my balls roll all over the place"
That's why I put a piece of carpet under my chair?!?!..:)
Seriously Semi - that is a simple but heck of an idea. And of course you'd be the one to think of it - I mean with soooooo much time on your hands.

One of the ranges where I shoot, Ben Avery, offers something like that. The benches are concrete slabs. You can pick-up carpet squares that are about 1'x1'. I put a couple of these together to have a cushioned place to rest pistols or keep items from rolling around. It sure beats a coffee can lid!

Cheap, simple, yet effective. Can't be it.

Thank's Semi, I got My Laugh for the Day!
