Unfortunately, Many of the guns are listed as out of stock. They have some .52 extremes left at 239.99 but the .52 is not the direction I am going. Thanks for the heads up on the site though.

Looks like they got some 50cal LRHs left in stock at a fairly reasonable price. Thats a steal on the Extreme 52cal but i dont need another 52. Sabot selection is a bit limited but the ones available get the job done just fine. Harvester might be offering a new 52x452 sabot for them this year. Knight sells them loose for about $10 for 50. Add a 458 bullet from 220-405gr and you have a gun that will kill nearly any big game humanely. 458 bullet selection is very good IMO and a good match for ML velocities.

I hit the "ad to cart" on that laminate Extreme faster than lightning. :D Too bad they are sold out. The stock and bolt alone are worth that much.

Congrats, i think you will really like the 52cal if you are looking for upper end 45/70 type performance. The 52x475s are interesting but bullet selection isn't as good. The .475 325gr XTPs ive shot are some thumpers though and Speer offers a couple .475 options too.

The slightly faster twist is the main reason i wanted one and the potential for exceeding 3000FPE within recommended load data. Knights recommended .475-375gr is a expensive beast but you can get close to that level with a Speer .458-350gr SP bullet for a fraction of the cost. The 52cal Knight sabots are tough and should handle just about anything you can tolerate shooting. The recoil pad on the 52cal Extremes are a bit nicer too IIRC.

I wish they would have focused more on a high end 54x50 DISC option with a faster twist but the 52cal was intended for long range performance so my 458-300gr SOCOMs at about 2000fps will have to do for now. :D

Ya'll are killing me... I had to have one of the Next Vista camo .52 Extreme's. $293 shipped to my door,,, that's about half off for the same gun on Knight's web site. How could I turn that down!
