I sold a couple I wasn't shooting much and am getting this pimped out one to keep my other Bison company.

That's pretty nice looking. It's a .504 isn't it?.You will have to let us know how it shoots. better yet bring it out and show us how it shoots?:)

Art, you getting any of this weather. I went out to shoot yesterday and bout froze. Right now we are having one heck of a blizzard and it is back to below zero tonight?. I need some warm weather.

Nice rifle flounder. Let us know how she shoots. As for the weather, man yesterday it was blowing like a muther. Could hardly walk a straight line. Fortunately for me, with the few extra pounds I put on over the winter I was able to keep both feet on the ground.

It is close to a whiteout out there right now. There is even a little thunder with the snow. We sure had a nice week last week and thankfully that settled the snow cover down.
You're right, the Bison is a .504. My other one is the rarer .540. I recently glass bedded that one and am very impressed with how it is shooting the 535 grain No Excuses.

What kind of powder do you shoot in your whites? I noticed that some people don't seem to like pyrodex p even though that is what Doc recommends. I have always used 777 but bought some pyrodex p to try.

I have used Pyrodex only once. Some people feel it is hard on your rifles even if you clean em up right away. I like the Goex better, I thought the Pyrodex fouled things up worse. I don't have any problem getting Goex locally in 2f or 3f. I would like to get some of the Swiss to try. Want to go together on an order sometime?

ps: I would rather use triple 7 than pyrodex. I think I am going to order a bunch of over powder cards from TOW to help stop leading.

I can't get Goex or Blackpowder around here. Only 777 ,pyrodex ,blackhorn or APP and i quit using APP 2 years ago.So I have only been shooting 777 and sometimes Blackhorn. Mostly 777.

I don't think the 777 was even out yet when doc was touting the Pyro. I think it works fine but I think the over powder cars are important witt 777 cuz it is so hot. I have really had good luck with Goex, if I am able to swing the trip I'll bring you some to try.
